Who We Are
We are a parent led fully functioning, organized community support group based in Aldershot.
As parents of children and young people with neurodivergent and physical disabilities, we know how challenging everyday life can be.
We are parents too.
We hold monthly meet ups that include specialist workshops on topics that matter to our families such as EHCP, Speech and Language, Emotion regulation, stress management, financial support and many more.
The mental health aspect of the SEN support journey is often overlooked but we are committed to ensuring it receives the attention and care it deserves. These spaces we've created together are making a real difference.
What you might not see is the deeper impact these gatherings are having. Parents are finding friends. Real connections are forming the kind that may last a lifetime. As parents of neurodiverse children, we carry a tremendous weight on our shoulders, one that only another parent in our position can truly understand.
Beyond workshops parents are encouraged to attend coffee mornings, weekly badminton sessions and NANA virtual network.
We will continue to deliver monthly workshops, coffee mornings and other mental health wellbeing events. To support these, we will conduct various fundraising events.
Continue building partnership and collaboration with local community support groups, including government entities.
Build training and development programme for parents and children and ultimately reach out to UK wide SEND Nepali community.
